Giving Back to Community – Tree Planting at Nilai

A number of our team members especially our management team were at AEON Mall Nilai to participate in the tree planting ceremony organized by AEON Foundation Malaysia as part of our group companies’ effort to give back to society. By working hand-in-hand with teams from various group companies as well as the local communities, we planted young saplings all around AEON Mall with hopes that these saplings shall grow and provide the land and its people with a greener future.

AEON Delight ASEAN Policy Meeting 2019

To further enhance the business synergies on the national and international level, AEON Delight sibling companies around ASEAN region had gathered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to share the ideas and direction moving forward for the upcoming year. This opportunity also enables the participants to meet and discuss various concepts while fostering closer ties to better connect to one another and reaching customers on a global platform.

AEON Delight Policy Meeting 2019

We started of the year by ensuring that all our members are in the right track and to further promote the sense of customer first philosophy, our members assembled together to provide their mission and ideas to create better values for our customers and the society. We also used this opportunity to recognize and reward our employees for their efforts and contribution.

Best Employee FYE2018 Award Study Trip to Japan

Recognition of our employees’ effort and performance is important and motivational not only to our employees but also to the Company. Therefore, AEON Delight had treated two (2) of our best employees for the year 2018 to Tokyo, Japan for a short study trip in the hopes of enabling our employees experience the different service culture while enjoying all the local hospitality and customs. By studying the Five (5) “W” and One (1) “H”, it provides the opportunity for our employees to learn from a different perspective and develop their sense of “Omotenashi”.

Presentation at the 4th Presentation on Activities to Create A Better Working Environment in Japan

For the second year running, AEON Delight Malaysia participated in our parent company’s annual cleaning presentation on activities to create a better working environment which is held in Tokyo, Japan. The presentation event is meant to pursue all possible ideas and activities by the cleaning members in making work more pleasant and easier for all members as well as improving the work quality and satisfaction of our customers. Our team consisting of 4 members, were among the 14 teams selected to present in the final round of the presentation which included teams from Vietnam and China. We, Team Malaysia was awarded with the “Overseas Special Award”. On a side note, all participants of the event were also treated to Tokyo Disneyland. The event had been an interesting platform to learn from one another and generate new innovative ideas for us to serve our customers better.

Company Outing 2019 @ FRIM

Our Company has always strived to balance work and leisure and therefore had decided to kick start the first quarter of the year with a Company Outing to Forest Research Institute Malaysia which members of the Company. Starting early in the morning, we gathered for a quick breakfast before being grouped into several teams encompassing our regular members as well as top management for a friendly competition ranging from puzzles, jungle trekking to sling shots. There was even a game that challenges our selfie skills. Although it was a friendly competition, the members were fired up and were passionate throughout the challenge with several teams emerging as champions. Through the day, everyone had an enjoyable time while becoming closely knitted as a team. Although short, this outing has become one of the many precious memories for both us and AEON Delight.
